Antigoni Parmaxi joined the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute as External Research Associate in January 2012. She is member of the team developing the third generation Cogniscope.
Biography
Antigoni holds holds a BA in Classical Studies from the University of Cyprus and an MA in Pedagogical Sciences from the same University. She is also a PhD Candidate at the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts focusing on Computer Assisted Language Learning and member of the Cyprus Interaction Lab.
Her main research interests focus on Computer Assisted Language Learning, social technologies, constructionism and participatory design methodology. In her PhD thesis she explores the development of a theoretical and methodological framework for enhancing language learning within social technologies.
