Haris joined Future Worlds Center in April 2014 working in the Humanitarian Affairs Unit on a UNHCR-funded research project Mapping protection needs of Syrians under the supervision of Corina DrousiotouThe project's aim is to carry out a mapping of the present protection situation of Syrians in Cyprus, with a comprehensive report including findings and recommendations. Haris is responsible for legal aspects of the project.

Short Bio

Haris holds a degree in law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and is a member of the Cypriot and Nicosia Bar Associations since 2010. He is native speaker of Greek and French. Haris has a solid experience in litigation and legal advice. He has been working in Cyprus registered law firms since 2010. He is also an expert on human rights and democratization matters with international field experience. He has had extensive responsibilities as an election observer in numerous European Union missions as a specialist proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus.
