Dora Heracleous is a member of the Global Education Unit of Future Worlds Center since 2018. She is Project Officer for three projects: Global Education Goes Local, MigratED and Youth of the World 2. She also participates in the project The Long Way to Europe as a local partner with the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (Cyprus).
She is an educator and a sociologist, specialised on Gender Studies and Feminist Philosophy. She studied Modern Green Literature, as well as Sociology at the University of Cyprus and did her Masters in Linköping University (Sweden). Education was always part of Dora's interests as she has extensively work with children and teenagers. She is currently a peace education trainer facilitating workshops on education for a culture of peace with Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot children and youth.
