The SDD was organized on the invitation of Timur Zhabbarov of the Social Sciences Lab and his team comprising Valeriya Lokotina, Alexander Nenashev, and Daria Khlopova. Yiannis Laouris was invited to a public TED-like talk attended by over 200 people in Moscow on December 1, 2027, titled Can we fit 1,000,000 educational goals in a single school curriculum?, conduct the SDD co-lab reported here also in Moscow on December 2, 2017 (9.00-19.00), and subsequently deliver a second public talk at St. Petersburg on How does school influence person's life? on December 3. Twenty-five talented, forward-thinking young educators from across Russia were invited to offer their responses to the Triggering Question shown below.

The SDD was conducted in Russian. The Facilitator did not understand what the participants were saying. This served as an experiment to test a hypothesis previously proposed by [[Aleco Christakis] that an SDD Facilitator is capable to facilitate an entire process without having to follow the content. The second experiment involved the use of IdeaPrism without prior warning. Participants were asked to download it from the stores at the launch of the process. Eighteen were able to set-it up and post their contributions, i.e., a single-sentenced proposal and a one-two paragraph clarification online. The others used the Facilitator's device utilizing the masking function.
