Future Worlds Center may at times decide to subcontract tasks to third parties. Following a Board Resolution in 2007, the Organization has the following rules to subcontracting:

  • A Project Coordinator may decide to subcontract a task related to a project without any further permission, provided this has been part of a contract already signed with a funding agency.
  • A task can be subcontracted to a third-party without the need for tenders if the total amount €10,000 unless financial regulations of the relevant project instruct otherwise.
  • In all other cases, the Project Coordinator is expected to follow the organization's procurement policy, which demands requesting three tenders and also receiving clearance from the Financial Officer and the Executive Director.
