Relation to the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute (CNTI)
Partners with the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute (CNTI) in the R&I PEERS project.
Since 2010, the Digital Leadership Institute and its predecessor Zen Digital Europe have carried out initiatives promoting girls and women in ESTEAM (entrepreneurship, science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics). These activities have the aim of "bridging the gender gap and digital divide worldwide," that is realised through educating and empowering digital leaders of today and tomorrow with a specific focus on girls and women.
DLI’s four main areas of activity are the following:
- awareness-building and advocacy
- skills development and education
- innovation and entrepreneurship support; and
- research and consultancy
DLI communities are both live and virtual, and community members number in the thousands. DLI is a prominent member of the European Centre for Women and Technology network, having chaired the Belgian contact point from 2011 to 2015, and DLI is widely considered a European front-runner in the movement to get more women and girls into ESTEAM.
