Mrs. Andronika Papastylianou Italou collaborates with Future Worlds Center as an Assistant Coordinator since February 2013. Mrs. Italou is the Project Assistant Coordinator of the Cyberethics: Cyprus Safer Internet Center, which is being implemented by the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute in the context of the Cyberethics project.


Short Bio

Mrs. Italou has a BA Psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a MSc in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology from University Lumiere Lyon 2. Before assuming the coordination of the Cyprus Safer Internet Helpline,she worked as a Researcher at Statistic Service of Cyprus, as a volunteer at CyberEthics Helpline and finally as a psychologist at private kindergarten. Mrs. Italou speaks Greek, English and French fluently, German and Greek Sign language at level A2.

Main activities and responsibilities:General organisation of the Helpline, coordinating the team, organize events, presentations, etc., write reports to the EU Commission, develop awareness tools and more.

Psychologist at Happy Hippo Kindergarten

She worked as a Psychologist at Happy Hippo Kindergarten. Main Responsibilities included psychological evaluation of new students, therapeutic intervention when necessary, organisation of workshops and lectures for children and parents, training of educators on child psychology and development.

Main activities and responsibilities:She is working as an operator/counsellor at the Safer Internet helpline Cyprus team. She is working minimum 4 times per month and she is on call for anyone who needs any consultation concerning internet issues
