Future Worlds Center puts enormous value in sharing its enthusiasm, energy, know-how, experience, processes and procedures developed over the years with the rest of the world. Therefore, we invite individuals from around the world to come and spend some time in our organization.
FWC policy regarding the mentoring of our interns includes the followings:
- Before accepting new internship, associates shall check the availability of the office to avoid congestion and inform all the head of unit to make sure the skills of the intern meet with the needs of the units.
- Interns cannot be placed to workstation of permanent associates of the organization.
- Every intern has to be assigned to a mentor (preferably to senior associate).
- The mentor is in charge of the schedule (working hours) and workload of the intern who cannot be involved in tasks assigned by other associates without prior permission of the mentor.
- The mentor is responsible to follow-up the training of the interns as well as to write the reference letter at the end of the internship.
FWC policy regarding the obligation of our interns includes the followings:
- FWC is not able to provide computer to interns, therefore every intern should bring his/her own laptop and use it during the internship.
- Every intern has to support Future Worlds Center Administration by 2 hours work per day according to the instruction of the Administrator. Administrative tasks can be answering phones, dealing with clients, copying etc.
