Description

The two young characters represent a boy who is a technology fanatic and a girl who stands for values and ethics. Our vision is for them to serve as models of responsible behavior for all youth across Europe. They were created by the Cyprus Node and are available under the Common License Agreement to all Nodes across Europe. Interested parties can exploit them in comics or other printed matter, or publish them on websites or even integrate them in educational software. A lot more is coming soon with these characters, like their transformation into 3D animated characters that will give a lot more flexibility in their use and in addition, voice will be added to them that will provide for us the means to promote the safer Internet message.

The Cyber and Ethics characters were used in a computer game that was made in house where both these characters fought cyber threads in the world of the Internet and after a stage was finished successfully informative messages popped up that educated the children about the dangers of the Internet. The game was first tested in the event of February 9th, at the ‘Freedom’ square, with very positive and enthusiastic feedback.
