Kevin Dye holds a graduate certificate in Publishing form Emerson Collage (2000), a graduate certificate in Structure & Interpretation of Computer Programs from M.I.T (1986) and one in Interpretation of Computer Programs from Indiana University (1989). He also holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with specialty in Thermodynamics from Northeastern University (1985). Mr Dye is the Founder of Granite City Grows and the Director of Research at Institute for 21st Century Agoras. In the past he has also acted as a chief Experience Officer at Quincy Farmers Market, as a Communications & Social Media Coordinator at The Revolving Museum, and as an Acting Director of Research at Massachusetts. Mr Dye served also as a Grant Writer, Researcher, & Assistant Director of Outreach at The Center for Green Chemistry of University of Massachusetts.

After completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialty in Thermodynamics from Northeastern University (1985) he joined United Technologies as Coordinator of Computer Aided Engineering for Otis Elevator. Transferring to United Technologies Research Center he led Integrated Product/Process Design in the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences Rapid Response Manufacturing Advanced Technology Program for the National Institute of Standards and Technology. He was sponsored as a Sloan Visiting Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1994-95.
 
His most recent work in the application of Structured Dialogic Design includes Evolution of the Technical Vision for Autonomous Systems and Future Synthesis of Electronic & Cyberwarfare in the Sensors Directorate of the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratories. He has previously designed and conducted SDD workshops for the World Health Organization, the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, the U.S. Food& Drug Administration, the U.S. Forest Service, the National Mental Health Association, and the National Patient Safety Foundation and Envisioning of the Creative Economy for the Massachusetts South Coast.


His current research interest focuses in the future synthesis of Electronic & Cyberwarfare in the Sensors Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratories. Mr Dye is also interested in Farmers Markets as 21st Century Agoras in researching new Narratives for New Bedford as an Iclusive Creative City and in Coastal Community Resilience Plan for the Climate Collab Project at MIT.

Kevin Dye joined the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute in January 2006 as Senior Research Scientist as a conceptual architect and Requirements Engineer for EU Research and Innovation Programme Grants focused on technology-supported deliberation for 15 years. Kevin is a long-time collaborator of Aleco Christakis and Yiannis Laouris and a founding member and staff of the Institute for 21st Century Agoras.
