A [[Candidate SDD co-Facilitator]] needs at least 10 unit credits, which can be earned in the following ways:
Certification as [[Candidate SDD co-Facilitator]] is complete when at least 10 credits are accumulated. Credits can be earned in the following ways:
* Participant in a regular SDD: 2 credits. Here ''regular'' means an SDDP with all steps implemented. For mock SDDP 1 credit maybe awarded. The maximum earned through participation in SDDPs is 4 credits.
* Participant in a regular SDD: 2 credits. Here ''regular'' means an SDDP with all steps implemented. For a shorter, demonstration SDDP, 1 credit maybe awarded upon recommendation of the  [[Certified SDD Facilitator]] conducting the SDDP. A maximum of 4 credits can be earned through participation in SDDPs.  
* Has secured a Mentor. Any Certified SDD Facilitator has the right to serve as Mentor for both Candidate and Certified co-Facilitators

* CSAP student who attends the SDD module earns 2 (max 4; depends on status and recommendations). A CSAP graduate can apply for 6 (not overlapping with credits earned for participation)

A max of 4 can be earned if a student conducts her/his project on Dialogic Design Science]].
