Larry Fergeson joined Future Worlds Center in 2005 for a year as an intern from the Conflict Resolution graduate program at the Portland State University writing grant applications and assisting his mentor Yiannis Laouris in drafting academic papers. . Upon his second return to Cyprus in 2007 he assumed responsibilities in program development and in project coordination. He served as Project Coordinator for many projects and between 2008-2010 he was the Head of the Humanitarian Affairs Unit.
