The SDD Credit Point System documents the many alternative ways by which any practitioner can earn credits for the SDD Certification Scheme. These are described below:


Certification as Candidate SDD co-Facilitator

The basic requirements for anyone who aspires to join the SDD community include participation in SDDPs and studying the theoretical background. Application can be made, and certificate will be issued when at least 6 credits have been earned. Certification status is however fulfilled when at least 10 credits have been accumulated.

A past CSAP graduate can apply for 6 credits provided they do not overlap with credits earned for participation in the same program.

A Certified SDD Facilitator is authorized to roles. To apply for this status one should either already have, or comply with the requirements of the previous status. Application can be made, and certificate will be issued when at least 6 additional credits have been earned. Certification status is however fulfilled when at least 10 additional credits have been accumulated.

Additional credits can be earned in the following ways:

Complete advanced theoretical SDDP training Participate in at least one advanced training of trainers SDDP as instructor Serve as mentor of a Certified SDDP co-Facilitator for at least 2 SDDPs

Notes:

  1. The recommendation of the mentor is required for advancement from one level to the next
  2. Certificates are issued upon verification of at least 60% of credits required and payment of the certification fee.
  3. Credits earned are shown on the certificate
  4. Certification is valid provided the yearly membership fee is settled
