Elena has been with the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute since 2008. She started as Project Coordinator for the Cyberethics Hotline. From her role as Research Associate at the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute, her interests focus in the fields of learning disabilities, cognitive neuroscience and dangers of the Internet.
Biography
Ms Aristodemou has earned a BSc in Psychology from Monash University, Australia and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods from the Open University of UK.
Activities at Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute
Elena coordinated two research projects, which investigated the dangers and the perceptions about dangers in Web 3.0 environments such as Second Life:
She has also been working on other projects such as Local Authorities Cyprus project. Throughout the years, Elena has also been heavily involved in writing grant applications.
Elena leads the research in the context of the Cyberethics: Cyprus Safer Internet Center project.
