3-day workshop for youth, Nikitari

During the 3 days the youth had to develop the Millenium Development Goals. They were learning and discusing for the goals through the activities. Also they had to creat a video,to find the genreal idea and develope it and after to learn how to use the camera. They had to focus on subject like; how the local issues of their community conected with global issues. After they founnd their title and they started shooting to finalize their movie. Whithin 3 days youth manage to learn how they can product a movie, learn the Millenium Development Goals, took interviws and finalize their movie.
The project “From Local to Global” aims to foster mobilization about the MDGs in Lithuanian and Cypriot society with a focus on rural communities in both of these countries. As part of the project, workshops have been conducted in three rural communities in each countries, aiming at empowering young people to identify key issues on the local level and take an active role in their communities.
