Prof. Andreas Papapavlou was an active member of The Dyslexia Group of the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute in 1994. She co-organized the Computers and Dyslexia 2002 Conference.


Short Biography

Undergraduate studies at Kean University of New Jersey, USA, from 1970 to 1974 with a major in Psychology and English Language and Literature. Postgraduate studies at the University of Rochester, New York, USA: MA in Applied Linguistics (1974-1976) and PhD in Psycholinguistics (1976-1978). Before recruited at the University of Cyprus in 1991 as the first permanent faculty member, worked at the American University Cairo (as Asst. Prof. Psycholinguistics), University of King Faysal (as Assoc. Professor of Linguistics) and University of the United Arab Emirates (as Assoc. Professor of Linguistics).
