Aliki has been with the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute (CNTI) since February 2013. She is an active member of New Media Lab. She is currently the Project Coordinator of a multilateral project under the name MINGLE (MIgrant Language and SociaL Integration), an Assistant Project Coordinator for "e-Hoop Unified e-Hoop approach to learning differences" and an Assistant Project Coordinator forCyberethics: Cyprus Safer Internet Center. Aliki is also involved in EU Kids Online (http://www2.lse.ac.uk/media@lse/research/EUKidsOnline/Home.aspx) and assisting in the writing of her department's grant applications.

Biography

Ms Economidou graduated from G C School of Careers in 2007 with a High School leaving Certificate of 94%. Being intrigued by the human brain and the study of mind and behaviour i.e. Psychology she earned her BSc (Hons) in Psychology from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom (UK) in 2010. She subsequently acquired her MSc in Health Psychology from the University College London (UCL) and King's College London (KCL), UK (the MSc was a combined course between the two Universities). In 2009 she earned the Manchester Leadership Award, having completed a series of courses and acquiring over 60 hours of accredited volunteering experience. She served in the past as a Research Assistant (KCL) and a PhD Student Assistant (UCL). Aliki has a strong interest on learning processes and mental health issues.
